Accessibility

This statement was last updated on December 22, 2025.

We at the Community Learning Center (CLC) Inc. are working to make our site is accessible to people with disabilities.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

We have adapted this site to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard use. As part of this effort, we have also installed a UserWay Widget that can be moved and shown/hidden.  Our site complies to nearly all WGAC Level A accessibility audit requirements and this widget will aid users further.  We have set the content order of the site’s pages, defined clear heading structures on all of the site’s pages, added alternative text to images, implemented color combinations that meet the required color contrast, and reduced the use of motion on the site to a minimal amount.

The accessibility of certain pages on the site depend on contents that do not belong to the organization, and instead belong to Event Calendar App. The Calendar, upcoming Events, and registration applications are affected by this.  We therefore declare partial compliance with the standard for these components.

Accessibility arrangements at the physical site

The CLC is comprised of three different eras of construction and while efforts have and will continue to be made to modify designs to offer full accessibility, it is possible some areas may not be suitable for all. The property includes two elevators and two automated door entrances. We recommend that those with mobility issues or who use mobility assistance devices use the newly constructed entrance at Door # 16, located to the northeast corner of the building. Door #16 is at street level with automated entry doors and a large, interior elevator for easy access to the second and third floors. For further reference, please see the venue maps here.

If you find an accessibility issue on the site, or if you require further assistance at the venue, you are welcome to contact us:
